Trinity University TV

When Trinity University.is anticipated moving its technical operations to HD in the existing building they hired Beck Associates to design and install its new broadcast systems and to decommission the old system. In response to Trinity Univ.'s request, Beck Associates provided system integration services for the new central equipment room containing master control, a production/audio control room, one studio with one I/O panel, and a news room. Beck Associates installed and tested all broadcast systems for these spaces. These systems included traffic, weather, news room text, building RF, A/V, microwave, transmitter, studio lighting and facility data/voice systems. The design services and documentation provided by Beck included conceptual signal flow drawings of all major systems. The approved conceptual signal flows assisted with equipment selection/specification and as the basis for the final system design. Beck assisted Trinity Univ. with the evaluation of competing manufacturer’s equipment and arrange for demonstrations as necessary. While on the job site, BECK's technical crews unloaded project equipment sent from the BECK warehouse to the project site, placed all equipment racks, mounted all project equipment in racks and consoles, wired project equipment per approved system documentation, commissioned project equipment not to be commissioned by manufacturer's personnel, tested and commissioned the new system and attended the switchover of systems from old to new.
